Elayna Naftis was born in Manhassett, New York, on December 17, 1978, and admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2003. Ms. Naftis is admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas.

Ms. Naftis earned the degrees of B.A. from Vassar College (1999) and M.L.A. from Southern Methodist University (2004). She received her legal education at Baylor University (J.D., 2003).

Ms. Naftis' professional memberships include the Dallas Bar Association, State Bar of Texas, American Bar Association, and Dallas Association of Young Lawyers.
